Access To Quality Mental Health
Care Is Our Mission

Sarah Hamilton, MS, LPC, CPC

Our bodies are amazing beings. They communicate with us even when we are unaware, often through illness, grief, anxiety, depression, or myriad other ailments. As Jacob Moreno, the father of group therapy, states, “The body remembers what the brain forgets.” When we begin to listen, it is amazing what we can heal. I firmly believe that the mind-body connection is more than just words; it is backed by proven science that demonstrates how grief, pain, anxiety, and similar experiences move through us. While we cannot change what has happened to us, we can change how we respond to these events—whether through actions, thoughts, or words. And among the tools we have, compassion is the greatest.

My mission is to create a safe space where everyone can heal their spirit and body, equipping them with the tools needed to feel whole, even in times when they might not. This space is free of judgment and advice; it is one where curiosity leads the way forward.

A little about me:
I hold a Master’s of Science in Clinical Mental Health from Western Connecticut State University, where I completed my internship at Ann’s Place in Danbury, CT, a cancer support center. I am also a certified International Coach Federation wellness coach with over 15 years of experience. Throughout my career, I have spoken at multiple seminars, including those at Mt. Sinai Hospital in NYC and Yale New Haven Hospital in CT, teaching about staying present and using mindfulness for health and recovery. Supporting people through deep grief is both a calling and a privilege for me. Being trusted and allowed into a person’s life during such a vulnerable time is a gift, and I am utterly grateful for it. Thank you in advance for your trust.

On my time off you can find me hiking with my husband and reduced puppy, knitting, and learning to play the bass guitar.

I look forward to meeting you!
